Buyer Success Story- Nichols Dr. Bonny Doon

Buyer Success Story- Nichols Dr. Bonny Doon

Savvy, can do, tough-as-nails first time homebuyers are some of my favorite clients.

The buyers of this 2+ acre property on Nichols in Bonny Doon, said YES to a home that had been clearly loved, but due to the CZU fire, was abandoned and left behind were with truck-loads of discarded personal items and questionably functioning systems.

But they saw the potential and before it even hit the market, they made an offer, that included them doing the clean up. They wrote a beautiful letter to the seller, their offer got accepted and they got to work right way: clearing, cleaning, fixing, and protecting the home through rain, gale-force wind and multiple power outages.

Sellers usually do the inspections up-front, but in this case it was all on them.

A home inspection without power? Septic inspection without water?  None of these hurdles deterred these clients, nor our team project manager, Eli LaLane, who worked tirelessly to schedule all the inspections.

Inspections performed:

~Home Inspection

~Furnace Inspection

~Fireplace Inspection

~Septic Inspection

~Well Inspection

~Water Testing

Additional Investigations:

~Building and Planning Department

~Assessor’s Records

~Environmental Health Department

~On-site contractor visit

The sale closed last Friday and the first thing that these buyers did……knock down a wall!

Of course!

Next: Moving the shipping container. Anyone want to help?!
